Engine 23, along with units from companies 50, 11, 31, 22, 4, 3 and 1 responded to a reported building fire at 7-Eleven. Chief 3-1 arrived on scene with fire showing from the roof, established command and requested the rapid intervention dispatch. Engine 23, 501 and Truck 41 arrived shortly after command was established and quickly extinguished the fire, holding it to the roof area of the structure. Crews from companies 2, 4 and 50 remained on scene to assist the Fire Marshal.
