Junior Fire Company No. 2, Inc. was established in November 1838. The company has served the residents of both Frederick City and Frederick County. During 2023, the company responded to 1,988 fire and service calls and 2,376 ambulance calls. We are asking for your support to continue serving the needs of your community.

In 186 years of existence, the Junior Fire Company No. 2, Inc. has provided the community with thousands of members serving in many capacities to preserve life and property. Many members of the Junior Fire Company No. 2, Inc. have placed their lives in jeopardy and a few have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for our community. Over the years, our members, as well as the company, have received recognition through honors and awards. We remain a close-knit family made up of your friends and neighbors, who have come together for a safer Frederick.

Over the years, we have set a Standard of Excellence, embracing new firefighting and medical techniques. We have developed better Emergency Services, keeping up with the high demands and needs of our immediate community.
